To further deepen the connection between higher education and basic education, and to effectively improve the quality of undergraduate students, on the afternoon of March 25, the Party Secretary of our university, Huang Xiankai, led a team to Zhongguancun Middle School in Beijing to hold a signing and plaque ceremony for a high-quality student base. Comrade Qi Jianxin, Party Secretary of Zhongguancun Middle School, Principal Su Shu of the main school, and Vice President Zuo Min of our university, attended the event.

Before the meeting, accompanied by comrades Qi Jianxin and Su Shu, Secretary Huang Xiankai and his party visited the campus, museum, and history museum of Zhongguancun Middle School.

Secretary Huang Xiankai introduced the vigorous development of our university's various undertakings, including the history of running a school, discipline construction, scientific research advantages, school space, talent training, international exchange, and alumni development. He expressed gratitude to Zhongguancun Middle School for providing excellent talents to our university over the years. He hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Zhongguancun Middle School, innovate in-depth guidance models for talent docking, and take multiple measures to promote cross-integration, building a broader platform for cultivating more excellent students.

Vice President Zuo Min introduced the university's undergraduate recruitment and talent training, focusing on the unique advantages of our university as a multidisciplinary institution in enhancing students' comprehensive qualities. He also introduced the university's exploration of innovative models for training top-notch talents, creating an experimental area for cultivating future leaders in scientific and technological innovation in related fields, and forming a cultivation ecosystem. He hoped that the two schools would deepen their friendship and work together to cultivate talents who can undertake significant responsibilities for the nation.

Principal Su Shu, on behalf of the Zhongguancun Middle School Education Group, welcomed and thanked Secretary Huang Xiankai for leading the team. He looked forward to in-depth cooperation with our university in the construction of the student base. Relevant school leaders of the Zhongguancun Middle School Education Group introduced the relevant situations around their work.

Subsequently, our university signed the "High-Quality Student Base Cooperation Agreement" with Zhongguancun Middle School and its Zhichun branch, and held a "High-Quality Student Base" plaque ceremony.

After the ceremony, both sides went to Wang Dezhao Academy to listen to a class, to understand the teaching situation of "Financial Literacy" taught by teachers from the Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University. They also had in-depth discussions on the intention to continue offering courses related to business career development and vocational education guidance, reaching a broad consensus on cooperation.

Zhongguancun Middle School is a "Beijing Demonstration High School" and a "National Experimental School for the Development of Characteristic High Schools." It was established in 1982 and has now become a complete middle school education group with four campuses and more than 5,000 teachers and students. In 2014, the school was also named "Zhongguancun School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences." Adhering to the "big curriculum view" concept, the school actively promotes curriculum reform, constructs an open, diverse, and autonomous curriculum system, and focuses on cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability. In the past three years, our university has admitted 84 graduates from the Zhongguancun Middle School Education Group.

The holding of this high-quality student base plaque ceremony has opened a new chapter for in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two schools. The two schools will continue to deepen their exchanges and cooperation, give full play to the advantages of higher education resources and disciplines, explore the talent training mechanism of universities and middle schools, and achieve greater results in educational resource sharing and educational teaching reform.

After the meeting, the Business School discussed and reached a series of in-depth cooperation intentions with Zhongguancun Middle School, including sharing high-quality resources, deepening course cooperation, and strengthening through-education training. Through strengthening cooperation, it is hoped to promote the complementary advantages of both parties, provide students with a broader learning platform and more diverse learning experiences, and help both parties to move to a new higher level.

It is reported that teachers from the Business School have already opened financial courses for high school students of Zhongguancun Middle School, explaining financial management, corporate governance, behavioral finance, and other financial and financial knowledge to students, which has been well received. The opening of financial courses helps to cultivate the financial literacy of middle school students, stimulate students' interest in further study in business, and plays an important guiding role in students' future career development and personal growth.
